WHAT THEY SAY...

TESTIMONIALS FROM UNASHAMEDLY CHRISTMAS

" ....a classy, warmhearted Christmas cracker of show, designed to melt the stoniest of hearts. It features glorious inventive arrangements by MD Tom Foskett-Barnes of both well-loved classics and unfamiliar treasures. These are beautifully performed by Gayner and her superb trio.

Unashamedly Christmas avoids the twin perils of cynicism and saccharine to create an authentic celebration of the many facets of the holiday, which should ensure its widespread appeal and ongoing presence in the Christmas calendar".

TESTIMONIALS FROM HOORAY FOR LOVE

“A beautifully put together intimate cabaret. A warm, mellow reflective cabaret about love & heartache. Hooray for Nicky Gayner!”

 Mark Shenton, THE STAGE

“A terrific show. Really intelligent songs, thoughtfully put together with massive heart and charm and yet a very light touch. The show takes you on her search for love and every song provoked memories of my own funny romantic disasters. She has a lovely voice and I have no hesitation in recommending it hugely.”

 Dillie Keane of FASCINATING AÏDA

"A distinctive, witty, polished and beautifully structured show. Gayner shows her gift for story telling that is highly specific and personal, but nevertheless connects us to experiences that we can all share. Gayner is a striking presence on stage. Hooray for Love is a delightful cabaret, which showcases Nicky Gayner’s range and confidence as a performer and her willingness to share herself with an audience in a way that is funny, touching and truthful."

by a beautiful woman. I loved it"

TWIGGY

She can sing, perfectly in tune and with pleasing nuances, from soft and sultry to country twangy and show tune belt-y. She is fetching and her natural charm comes across in song as well as in her autobiographical anecdotes of motherhood (the mundane, the funny, and the tear-jerker). An audience-friendly, solid, heart-warming and entertaining evening of well delivered songs and stories.
