Nicky Gayner is a London based, International cabaret singer and actor. In London she has performed at classic venues such as The Pheasantry and The Crazy Coqs. In August 2014 Nicky took her fist solo show ‘Nicky Gayner’s Empty Nest’to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it played to packed houses.
In 2014 Nicky had a sold out residency at the Pheasantry in London and performed ‘Empty Nest’ at the Metropolitan Room, New York. In 2015 she went on tour in both Zimbabwe and Norway.
In 2016 her show ‘Hooray For Love’ made its debut at Wilton’s Music Hall. Nicky then took it up to do 20 performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, before bringing the show back to London for an autumn season at The Pheasantry and again in the Spring of 2017. She also took 'Hooray For Love' to the Maldives in 2017.
'Unashamedly Christmas' made it's debut in December 2018. Since then it has had sold out shows at The Pheasantry, the Crazy Coqs at Brasserie Zedel. and Wilton's Music Hall. "Unashamedly Christmas' has established itself as a firm favourite on the London Christmas calendar with audience members coming year after year, becoming a cherished holiday tradition.
'Musical Memories' is Nicky's new show and has been playing at The Pheasantry this April & May. Cabaret Scenes have said about it " Gayner's cabaret was a tender ode to nostalgia, a celebration of the melodies that bind us across time and space. With its blend of captivating storytelling and soul-stirring performances, it left an indelible mark on the heartstrings of all who experienced it."
'Musical memories' will be back in 2025.
